Only My Knight Could Think Of This
It wasn't something I had asked him for or ever really told him I wanted; to be quite honest I didn't really know how much I wanted it myself until he gave it to me. Myself and my boyfriend were out having a coffee and we were talking about books we read when we were kids. I had always really liked ߵThe Secret Garden' and while I had enjoyed the book it was the 1949 edition of the movie that I was in love with. The way it switched from black and white to colour had made it all the more magical for me when I was a child. I tried once before to get a copy of it myself but alas I was unsuccessful. I mentioned it to him in passing and I never gave it a second thought.
Six weeks later, on our first Valentine's Day together, we were out having dinner in my favourite restaurant and he handed it to me. I just couldn't believe it, I don't know how he remembered! It was perfect though, it was so thoughtful and so sweet. I think it's a gift I'll always remember, it's still kind of a symbol for me of how thoughtful he is, how he listens to every word I say and how he really is the man for me.
